Tasks required:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards.
  • Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries for review.
  • Assist with tax filings and compliance based on provincial regulations.
  • Coordinate with accountants and other financial professionals as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial data.
  • Support administrative tasks related to bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience with a strong track record of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Canadian accounting practices and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and compliance.
  • Understanding of financial forecasting and budgeting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, and able to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks
