Tasks required:

  • Provide remote IT support to users via phone, email, or helpdesk tools
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues (Windows/macOS)
    Set up and maintain email accounts, calendars, and file-sharing systems (e.g., Outlook, MS Teams, GoDaddy)
  • Assist with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software and resolve user concerns
  • Implement and uphold data security standards in alignment with Canadian PHIPA-equivalent guidelines
  • Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of sensitive client and patient information
  • Perform other ad hoc administrative or technical tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
  • Experience with remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP)
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
  • Experience in EMR software and understanding of health data privacy regulations
  • Understanding of or experience with Canadian healthcare privacy guidelines and PHIPA compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (via email and phone)
  • Familiarity with GoDaddy, MS Teams, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft are a strong advantage
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a remote setting
