Tasks required:
- Provide remote IT support to users via phone, email, or helpdesk tools
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues (Windows/macOS)
Set up and maintain email accounts, calendars, and file-sharing systems (e.g., Outlook, MS Teams, GoDaddy) - Assist with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software and resolve user concerns
- Implement and uphold data security standards in alignment with Canadian PHIPA-equivalent guidelines
- Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of sensitive client and patient information
- Perform other ad hoc administrative or technical tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role (2+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
- Experience with remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP)
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience in EMR software and understanding of health data privacy regulations
- Understanding of or experience with Canadian healthcare privacy guidelines and PHIPA compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (via email and phone)
- Familiarity with GoDaddy, MS Teams, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft are a strong advantage
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a remote setting
