Tasks required:
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Conduct banking activities and assist with payroll processing
- Assist with invoicing and handling accounts receivables
- Perform all activities related to the accounts receivable and accounts payable function
- Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on a needed basis and provide reports to the client
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements ensuring their accuracy
- Perform financial analysis and planning
- Recommend changes to improve financial performance
- Maintain the client’s database and make sure everything is up to date
- Organize the documents, files and images correctly
- Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or any relevant role is required
- Working experience in accounting software is a must
- Knowledge in basic accounting is a must
- Understanding of accounting best practices is necessary
- Experience with the financial calculations involved in importing goods is preferred
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Knows how to craft responses and do meaningful conversations
- Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services and VoIP (GSuite, Zoom, Slack, Trello, etc.)
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized, and able to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks
