Tasks Required:
- Perform multi-currency consolidation of financial statements across entities and jurisdictions.
- Manage and maintain accounting data within Zero (Xero) or similar financial systems.
- Support or integrate with legacy accounting and case management tools (Proclaim experience is a plus).
- Prepare, review, and reconcile monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Assist with tax compliance and reporting for UK, US, and Cayman Islands entities.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline accounting processes and system workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations) to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or systems accounting.
- Hands-on experience with Zero (Xero) or similar cloud accounting tools.
- Understanding of multi-currency consolidation and intercompany transactions.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting automation or integration tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reviews or analyses simultaneously.
- Familiarity with UK, US, and Cayman Islands tax rules and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Proclaim or other legacy financial/case management systems is a PLUS
