Tasks required:
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare tax documents and support compliance with financial regulations.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members regarding financial matters.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Perform data entry, record-keeping, and document management tasks.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an accounting assistant, bookkeeper, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, bookkeeping, and tax regulations.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- A strong understanding of financial reports.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace.
